Qualifications Julian Cowan Hill R.C.S.T. is a member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association which means he practices according to strict guidelines set out by the worldwide association, and is fully qualified, insured, and supervised. (RCST stands for Registered Craniosacral Therapist) He regularly attends advanced courses to upgrade his work. Julian graduated from the College of Craniosacral Therapy, Primrose Hill, London in July 2000, and received a qualification in Craniosacral Therapy, Anatomy, Pathology and Physiology. He also worked as a tutor at the college in 2002. He attended a post-graduate course on dentistry and a workshop on the facial bones and the visual pathways. He has attended advanced courses in Craniosacral therapy at the Karuna Institute in Devon on: Shock and Trauma, The Neuroendocrine System and The Breath of life. He is attending a Core Process advanced course in 2004 deepening his knowledge of Psychotherapy and Cranial work. Julian is qualified as a Befriender for the Befriending Network, Islington, London to help with people living with terminal illness. Because he has lived in several different countries, he speaks fluent French and Spanish, and reasonable Italian. He graduated with a 2/1 in French and Spanish from St Andrews University.
Please note Although this approach does not use hands-on contact, body and energetic awareness is still very central to the work. Core Process work provides support for: relationship difficulties loss of direction loneliness and isolation addictive behaviour spiritual crisis depression and anxiety overwhelm after a life change
